You worked hard for it.
Is everything working together?

Tax-aware wealth coordination for successful families.

Good advisors. Good advice. So why does something still feel off?

Most successful families we work with aren’t dealing with bad advisors.

Their CPA is sharp. Their investment advisor is experienced. Their insurance professional understands risk. Each one knows their lane — and that’s exactly what they were hired for.

The challenge is that specialization makes it difficult to see how decisions in one area affect outcomes in another. Tax decisions affect investment strategy. Investment decisions affect retirement income. Insurance decisions affect legacy planning. When each area operates independently, important interactions can get overlooked.

Investments, insurance, and taxes all evolve. If you’re not active across all of them, it’s difficult to know what’s available or how the pieces fit together.

And on top of that — your phone is full of people telling you your CPA is wrong, you need a short-term rental portfolio, you’re leaving money on the table, and everyone else is already doing something you haven’t heard of yet.

Most of it doesn’t apply to you. But without someone who knows all of these areas well enough to evaluate them honestly, it’s hard to know what’s real and what’s noise.

Wealth coordination isn't about replacing the people you trust. It's about making sure all of their advice points in the same direction.

We align your money, energy, and time to what matters most.

Who we Work With

We work with successful families — business owners, executives, retirees, and professionals — who have spent decades building wealth and want to make sure nothing important gets overlooked.

Most of our clients are over 50. They’ve accumulated meaningful wealth. They’re facing real decisions — when to sell the business, how to create sustainable retirement income, how to reduce their tax bill, whether their surviving spouse will be okay.

They’re also being pulled in every direction. Social media, podcasts, and financial content are telling them their CPA is wrong, they need a real estate strategy, and everyone else is already doing something they haven’t heard of. They don’t want the next clever idea. They want someone they trust to help them evaluate what applies to their situation and what’s actually worth acting on.

They value family, stewardship, and practical advice over complexity. They want confidence — not a plan to file away.

We're probably a good fit if:

You’re thinking seriously about retirement — or already there

You’ve accumulated meaningful wealth — typically $1M or more

You have advisors you like but wonder if everything is truly working together

You’re tired of being bombarded with strategies that may not apply to your situation

You want tax efficiency considered alongside each recommendation — not added as an afterthought

You want confidence more than complexity

Planning is an integral part of our process. Our focus is on coordination and implementation — helping clients evaluate their options and make informed financial decisions across all areas of their financial life.

1

Clarify what Matters

Before numbers, before projections — we understand what you’re actually trying to accomplish. Decisions are easier when priorities are clear.

2

Identify Opportunities & Gaps

We review tax exposure, investment alignment, risk coverage, income sustainability, and legacy coordination. Not to generate paperwork — but to find the gaps that matter.

3

Put it to Work

We coordinate investments, tax strategy, and protection into one working system. No siloed decisions. No fragmented advice.

4

Adjust as Life Changes

Structure is not static. We adjust as markets move, laws change, and life evolves — with the goal of keeping you aligned as your circumstances change.

How We Work

Why Fortified Wealth

Fortified Wealth was built on a simple belief: advice should be evaluated by whether it improves outcomes.

Our founder, Tony Bails, spent 29 years working across tax, investments, insurance, and wealth management. That breadth shapes how this firm approaches each client relationship.

Most advisors are technically competent in their specialty. That’s not the problem. The problem is that deep specialization makes it hard to see how one decision affects everything else. We built this firm with that problem in mind.

What this means for you:

29 years of real-world experience across tax, investments, insurance, and wealth management.

Tax-aware advice considered alongside each recommendation — not added as an afterthought.

Legally required to act in your best interest.

If the juice isn’t worth the squeeze, we’ll tell you.

One relationship, across the key areas of your financial life.

What We Charge

Pricing should reflect the work being done. Depending on your situation, fees may be structured as a percentage of assets, a fixed fee, or a combination of both.

For example, our standard fee on a $500,000 portfolio is 1.20% of assets — approximately $6,000 annually.

For larger accounts, our structure becomes more efficient. Our standard fee on a $4,000,000 portfolio is $21,000 — a $15,000 fixed fee plus 0.30% on assets above $2,000,000 — an effective rate of approximately 0.53%.

For our complete fee schedule, please refer to our Form ADV Part 2, available upon request.
